Getting Here

Travel

Most guests will fly into Nashville International Airport (BNA), Tennessee’s largest airport, with nonstop service from cities across the U.S. and select international destinations.

Both the Grand Ole Opry and Two Rivers Mansion sit roughly a 15-minute drive from BNA. Ride-share, taxi, and rental car services are all available curbside at the airport. If you’re driving in, the venues are just east of downtown Nashville off Briley Parkway, with easy interstate access from I-40 and I-65.

Nashville does not have intercity rail service, so plan to arrive by air or car.

Where to Stay

Lodging

Both of our event venues — Two Rivers Mansion and the Grand Ole Opry — are located in the Opryland / Music Valley area of Nashville (zip code 37214), just east of downtown.

For the most convenient stay, we recommend looking for accommodations in the Opryland / Music Valley or Donelson neighborhoods, which put you minutes from both venues. For reliable, vetted options, we suggest browsing the official lodging directory from Visit Music City, Nashville’s official tourism authority:

Find Nashville Hotels

When searching, filter by the Opryland/Music Valley or Donelson/Hermitage neighborhoods to find hotels closest to our events. You can also reach a Nashville lodging expert directly at 1-800-657-6910 for help booking.

A few well-known options in the immediate area include the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and The Inn at Opryland (both adjacent to the Grand Ole Opry), along with several other hotels along Music Valley Drive. Staying in this area means you won’t need to commute from downtown — though downtown Nashville and Broadway are only about a 15–20 minute drive away if you’d like to explore.

What to Pack

Weather

Mid-September is one of Nashville’s most pleasant times of year. Daytime highs typically reach the upper 70s to low 80s°F, with cool evenings dropping into the low 60s — comfortable weather for outdoor festivities at Two Rivers Mansion and the long evening at the Grand Ole Opry.

Occasional afternoon thunderstorms are possible this time of year, so we recommend packing a light layer and a small umbrella. A few days before the event we’ll have a clearer picture — check the forecast on weather.gov (the National Weather Service’s site — no ads, no tracking):
